Ginger Kombucha Mule

     Moscow Mules, such a refreshing summertime drink! It’s also loaded with sugar and can be in the upwards of 300 calories and 80 carbs. Insane, right?! I love ginger beer but not to the point where I want to drink all that sugar! My husband’s coworker mentioned to him one day that she likes mixing kombucha with vodka. I drink kombucha every day, I love it! This was so intriguing to me, I had to play with kombucha as a mixer. Add some vodka, ginger kombucha, lime and Stevia simple syrup and you have a healthy version of a Moscow Mule! Now that I have tried this the possibilities are endless! Next I feel like I want to try some other flavors like Mojito Kombucha with rum or lavender kombucha with gin. Best of all, you get to reap the health benefits of kombucha instead of a sugar filled mixer!

Ginger Kombucha Mule

Ingredients

  • Ginger Kombucha (any brand will be fine)
  • 1 ½ ounces of Vodka
  • ½ lime squeezed
  • ½-1 ounce of Stevia Simple Syrup
  • Ice

 

Instructions

  1. Fill Glass with ice, vodka, ½ bottle of kombucha, ½ lime juiced and stevia simple syrup to taste. Stir and drink!
