About

I’ll Be In The Kitchen is a healthy #momlife blog full of recipes, majority free from gluten, dairy and refined sugar; drinks and lifestyle tips that we have developed through our passions and trial and error.  As sisters we wanted to put our heads together and share what we have learned with all you mamas to help in your healthy journey.

Hi fellow food lovers and moms! I’m Stephanie and a wife to the most amazing man and mom to a precious baby boy. I left my job as a COO of an organization to care for my little guy, and became the COO of our household to care for my whole family. As a former personal trainer, health and fitness has long been a priority in my life.

I have always been conscious of the type of food I fuel my body with, but once I became a mom, it skyrocketed to a new level. I used to have “cheat days” because I kept to a strict and boring diet, but have since learned a healthier way to cook and eat that allows me to eat everything, indulge occasionally (maybe even a drink or two), and have a better relationship with food. I don’t believe in diets, rather clean eating – wild-caught, organic, grass-fed, minimally processed.

My goal with our recipes is to:

  • Help you enjoy food and feel your best;
  • Have a better relationship with food and cooking;
  • Erase the mindset that eating healthy means it has to be boring and limited.

As a new mom, I’ve learned a lot about parenting over the last year. Mostly, do what works for me and my family. Having my sister give me advice comforted me along my pregnancy and parenting journey. I hope we’re able to provide that same comfort to all of you through what worked and didn’t work for us and our families at different stages of parenting.

You deserve to eat well, feel well, and enjoy your family. Grab a pan (or a drink) and I’ll meet you in the kitchen.

From my family to yours. Enjoy the healthy life!

Stephanie

Hey all! I’m Kelli and a mom of 3 girls who is all about healthy living and balance. In 2011 I found out that I have the brca1 cancer gene mutation and ever since I have made it a goal to be conscious about what I put in my body and my environment. I’m a save the planet, dance barefoot on the grass hippie who loves the outdoors, animals and most of all my family.

I became a stay at home mom 4 1/2 years ago and my family is my number one priority. My husband and I have been together for 15 years, I adore him and we have been on a mission to be as healthy as possible physically, mentally and spiritually. We feel its super important to raise our girls with the same ideals when it comes to taking care of their bodies because it’s the only one we are given! We do however believe in balance, and part of that is cocktails! Mamma loves me some delicious cocktails because taste and sanity are important factors of raising a bunch of kids. I will be posting a new cocktail recipe every Friday that will be a healthy but delicious twist on your typical cocktail. I’m also going to share my tips and tricks to rocking motherhood and having you learn through my mistakes and triumphs of what products and ideas work and what needs to be tossed out and never thought of again.

Cheers to your healthy journey!

Kelli
