This cocktail could be the most refreshing and tasty one I’ve made yet. I don’t actually know if I can confidently say that. They all start blurring together after a while. The brightest for sure though! My husband definitely looks forward to his weekly drink…
I love cucumber herb water. Whether it be made with mint or basil, it’s so refreshing. I thought I would take that concept and make lemonade with it and add some vodka. The result turned out so great! This can be made for your kids…
This drink has a very light yet refreshing flavor. The
ripeness of the cantaloupe will make or break this drink. I happened to have a
ripe, juicy cantaloupe that I was cutting up for my family. I saved a wedge of
it (roughly 6-8 pieces) and made a drink out of it before heading out back to
the pool. It was just perfect for lounging on a floaty!
Put cantaloupe, agave and mint into a shaker and muddle it together.
Fill shaker with ice and gin. Shake!
Put ice into a glass and fill up with cantaloupe gin mixture.
Fill the rest of the glass with sparkling water and stir.
This drink does not have a super
strong flavor yet it complements the gin so nicely. Next time you are cutting
up this fruit for your family, set aside some for yourself and make a
refreshing beverage!
Who likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain? I do! I like it better with sunshine but these drinks make me happy in any weather! I however do not like the sugar and carbs that come in this traditional drink. During summer I…
Last week I talked about using berries for a few different drinks since I had so many at the house. I did a Bourbon drink and now I thought I would switch it up and do a drink with Rum! This drink takes me back…
Right now we are smack into berry season! They are in every
store for great prices! My kids love them so I buy about 6 cartons of berries
each shopping trip. I was inspired to make a couple different drinks that I
would love to share with you! This week I thought I would use bourbon because I
am going to be spending the weekend at a local country music festival. It just
seemed fitting! It’s a simple drink with fresh raspberries, lime, lime seltzer
and bourbon.
Place raspberries into a glass and sprinkle a packet of stevia on top. Sqeeze half a lime on top and muddle together.
Put ice on top and pour in 2 ounces of bourbon.
Fill the rest of the glass with lime seltzer. Garnish with extra raspberries or lime if you would like.
This drink is perfect for the
bourbon lover! Fresh for summer with that nice kick of bourbon mixed in. Now
I’m off to a kid free weekend with my husband listening to country music with
this drink in my hand!
