Cilantro Lime “Sour Cream”

This sauce adds such a delicious creaminess to any dish.  It was something that was created when trying to make a dairy-free version of Mexican crema, but I love it so much and use it on or in many dishes.  Not to mention it’s the most simple sauce to make ever!

Cilantro Lime “Sour Cream”

  • Servings: 1/2 cup

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise (I like Primal Kitchen’s Mayo with Avocado Oil) or greek yogurt
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • Pink Himalayan salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl add all ingredients and stir until well combined.  Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.  That’s really all!
