Since fall is officially here, I know I’m not the only person craving all the fall things. Apples are on that list for sure. Whether it’s apple pie, apple crisp, caramel apples, caramel apple cheesecake, or apple cider donuts, I want it ALL. We can’t,…

it be on the rocks with his fancy round ice cubes, infused ice cubes, whiskey
stones, or a cocktail. Since it’s still

The cucumber has a great cooling effect, the lemon a great citrus touch, and both compliment the oakiness of the whiskey quite well. He’s very particular with his mixed drinks and how they play with the certain flavor of the whiskey, so for him to immediately love this one, means it’s good. I’m more of a tequila girl myself and I even thought it was good and made myself one. 1-2 oz of whiskey (depending on how strong you like your drinks)
Splash of club soda (I used lemon flavored for this drink)
Instructions
Muddle cucumber, lemon, and syrup in a shaker or a glass.
If using a shaker, add some ice and the whiskey and shake until cold then strain into an ice filled cocktail glass. If using a glass, add whiskey to an ice filled cocktail glass and strain muddled cucumber and lemon into glass using a mesh strainer.
