Blackberry Fig Bourbon Punch

This sweet and fizzy punch is one tasty cocktail.  The figs and blackberries make a perfectly sweet combo and when paired with the earthiness of bourbon and the fizziness of club soda, it’s hard to have just one.

It’s also a perfect drink to make for parties as it’s such a beautiful color and so festive looking.  Make a large batch and float some sliced figs and blackberries for guests to enjoy.

Blackberry Fig Bourbon Punch

Ingredients

  • 4 blackberries
  • ½ large fig or 1 small fig
  • 1 oz. Stevia Simple Syrup or honey syrup (equal parts honey and water – may only need if your berries are tart)
  • Ice
  • About 6 oz club soda
  • 1-2 oz of whiskey (depending on how strong you like your drinks)

 

Instructions

  1. Muddle blackberries, fig, and syrup (if using) in a shaker or a glass. Add half of the club soda to the muddled mixture.
  2. If using a shaker, add some ice and the bourbon and shake until cold then strain into an ice filled cocktail glass. If using a glass, add bourbon to an ice filled cocktail glass and strain muddled blackberry and fig mixture into glass using a mesh strainer.
  3. Top off with club soda and mix well.
  4. Garnish with a blackberry and fig slice.
